About Me

I've always gravitated towards art. I spent my free time after school reading about actors on IMDb, browsing Vogue articles for the newest trends and making playlists of undiscovered music for my friends. Today, I'm no different. Entertainment forms the core of our culture, and I'm passionate about sharing the stories of the artists and creators that make it happen.

I found my passion for journalism through my time at LSU. I applied for a job at The Reveille, our school paper, on a whim, and quickly realized it was time to switch my major. I was writing pieces about everything from puppet making to vegan pastries, but every subject had one thing in common-- they love what they do. Giving people the space to talk about their passions is my favorite part of the job.

Throughout my time in college, I've learned the ropes. Classes taught me AP Style, but experience showed me how to find a story. I pride myself on building genuine connections with sources, remaining flexible and being curious.  After I graduate in May, I'm excited to build my experience and continue learning.
